Become a Content Monster in 2024

My goal is to spur you into action to become a content monster in 2024. Own your expertise and tell the world like it is. Use this content to sell your products and services. I’ve talked to many people this year who were excited to make content and haven’t pulled the trigger yet or have started and don’t know what to do next.

What is a Content Monster?

Think cookie monster. But, instead of cookies….it’s content….content, content, content…..

Be Comprehensive With Your Message

In order to be successful with video, you have to be consistent with a message. If you do, like one of my clients has done this year, you will get the ultimate sales tools.

It has been a privilage to be included as part of the forever memories of so many families and also to have worked with Studio 131 along the way.

Measure Success

As we know, views are not the end-all measure of success, but if I were going to pick an analytic that could help determine success, it would be the increase in subscribers. One video I created with Karen Aucoin, Owner of Studio 131 Design & Decor, managed to do pretty well in both views and subscriber increases. A video like this can really skyrocket an entire channel forward.

Make Original Content

I got my first Vevo music video with this one, thanks to the awesome skills and imagination of John Wayne as well as the choreography of Karen Aucoin. You aren’t going to want to skip this.

Educate with Video

I’ve been interested in media literacy and media access since the day I picked up a camera when I was a kid. My enfatation has evolved into the place that I find myself in now, producing media as my means of survival. I take it pretty seriously, but in a way that is fun to learn. I hired some actor/students to help me get the point across and we had a ton of fun making it. Be sure to find the second episode too!

Distribute Properly

One of the artists I work with explained to me how she gets so many views on her videos. In short, it’s a distribution system that places the video on high traffic, appropriate playlists. Think Musaq in your local coffee shop.

So, while view counts mean very little in terms of video success, more eyeballs, means more chances for sales and opportunities. This video got the most.
